Special Musical Guest Flako Leslie bringing the love to today’s Sunday Vibes Dj Linkup

Posted: Sunday, November 29, 2020. 3:40 pm CST.

By BBN Staff: Reggae/Dancehall artist Flako Leslie is coming to today’s Sunday Vibes DJ Linkup and is bringing the love with him as he performs songs off of his latest album.

Leslie, who says he fell in love with music from the age of 11, is currently pushing his album “En la oscuridad (In the dark)” despite having his tour to places like Honduras and Salvador being canceled due to COVID-19. Apart from various old school selections, Leslie said that he plans to perform the title track from his album, which is a love letter to music.

“I used to do mostly party music, but now I do songs based on real-life situations, where the feeling is everything,” Leslie said. “I went through a dark time in my life, left music for about ten years. I made it out of that situation so the song is called En la oscuridad a song about love, a love of music.”

Leslie’s album is available on all major platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music.

The Linkup, which is hosted by renowned Dj Mistah Geeh, goes live on Breaking Belize News’ Facebook page at 4:00 p.m.
