BREAKING: Elderly man knocked down in Unitedville by former Mayor

By BBN Staff: An elderly man in his 90s is lucky to be alive after he was knocked down in Unitedville just before noon this morning.

Former Mayor of San Ignacio/Santa Elena, John August, was traveling towards Belmopan when his vehicle knocked down the elderly man. The incident occurred in front of Li Yang store in Unitedville.

The elderly man is alive and is receiving medical attention.

Police are currently on the scene conducting investigations.
