By BBN Staff: The Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams informed the public today that authorities have already begun an investigation into the allegations made in a video that went viral on social media.
A child was recorded explaining how he was sexually abused and the video was shared on social media.
“This is an outright case of child abuse and as a responsible society we must all do our part to protect our children from those who prey on their vulnerability. I also ask for those who had posted the video or shared it to kindly take it down,” Williams said.
Williams also urged the public to desist from keeping the video and/or sharing it.
“By keeping it on your timelines or sharing it you are adding to the hurt and humiliation of the child. Thanks and together let us all do our part to stop the abuse against our children,” he added.
