Taiwan donates $200,000 to Belize for humanitarian efforts

By BBN Staff: Today, Taiwan Ambassador to Belize, Remus Li-Kuo Chen handed over BZD $200,000 to Christopher Coye, Minister of State for Finance, Economic Development and Investment for the humanitarian relief efforts to Belizean citizens suffering from the recent flooding caused by Hurricanes Eta and Iota.

The generous donation comes courtesy of the Government and people of Taiwan.

Taiwan says that it will continue to work closely with the Government of Belize not only addressing the challenges ahead but also recovering with greater strength and prosperity.
