UNICEF and U.S. Embassy to donate aid packages to residents in Western Belize

By BBN Staff: The United States Embassy in Belize and UNICEF will handover aid packages to the San Ignacio Town Council tomorrow.

The United States Government, through the U.S. Embassy and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), supports the efforts of UNICEF to reduce the risk and impact of COVID-19 for vulnerable children and adolescents in Belize.

The UNICEF project received funding of U.S. $300,000 to support a comprehensive response to the critical needs to reduce the risk of increased COVID-19 cases among the most vulnerable children and families.
