Ministry of Health and Wellness incorporates rapid testing results into daily infographics

By BBN Staff: Today, the  Ministry of Health and Wellness informed that the daily infographic has been modified and will include the antigen rapid testing results for COVID-19.

The Ministry says that due to this increased testing, the total number of COVID-19 cases has also increased and is being reflected in today’s infographic.

 This daily report will also include the new cases, the total number of cases countrywide, as well as a heat map providing the geographic areas and communities mostly affected.    

The Ministry reminds that use of this antigen testing kit will ONLY be recommended for persons who are: 

1. I) Symptomatic 
2. II) Close contacts of a confirmed case 

Everyone is urged to continue to properly wear a face mask in public, maintain consistent physical distancing, and wash and sanitize hands often.

You are reminded to stay at home unless conducting essential business.
