By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize (Belize Met Service) says that slightly moist conditions prevail over the area.
The 24-hour forecast calls for partly cloudy with periods of rain and a few showers mostly over the south and coast this morning, spreading inland this afternoon then a few showers will occur mainly along the coast tonight.
“A flood warning remains in effect for communities downstream on the Belize River,” the Met Service said.
Today’s temperature highs will range from 83 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 84 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 76 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 76 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 72 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 65 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
Winds will be gusty, blowing North-Northwest between 05-15 knots, and the sea state will be moderate.
Low tide began at 7:00 a.m. and high tide will come in at 1:21 p.m.
The sun will set at 5:17 p.m. and the moon will rise at 9:11 p.m.
