Six new COVID-19 deaths

By BBN Staff: Six more Belizeans have lost their lives to COVID-19 according to the Ministry of Health and Wellness’s latest COVID-19 update.

The data published for today notes that the total number of deaths is now at 170 and the country’s fatality rate has gone up to 2.30%.

Meanwhile, there have been another 147 newly-confirmed cases from a sample batch of 833. There are other 1,425 cases currently under investigation.

Thirty-seven people remain hospitalized and four are in intensive care.

There were also 154 patients who have recently recovered from the virus.
