Mellow out this Sunday with Mixtape Biggs

By BBN Staff: The Sunday Vibes DJ Linkup is back this weekend with Mixtape Biggs set to be one of today’s guests.

This DJ, born and raised in San Ignacio, made his musical debut back in 2014 hosting a Friday night show on Oye FM, now Hits FM.

He moved on to become the house DJ for Thirsty Thursdays and had played at events in almost the entire country.

Apart from working the airways and nightclub scene, he played at Hit’s Radio Third Anniversary in 2019 as well as the Wet Fete event, which featured Trinidadian singer Nailah Blackman.

He told our newsroom today that he sets himself apart from other DJ’s by being able to feel the vibe of the crowd and telling what kind of music they want to hear based on their energy.

Speaking on today’s linkup he said “Today, being a Sunday, I’m thinking of bringing a nice Irie vibe, a nice reggae vibe, and some of the older Belizean music so the audience can mellow out and have a nice time.”
