By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service says cool and mainly fair weather conditions prevail over the area.
For the next 24 hours, variably cloudy skies today with little or no rainfall. Partly cloudy skies tonight with the chance of light rain or isolated showers over coastal and offshore areas late tonight into early Thursday morning.
Winds are from the north to northwest at 10 to 20 knots and sea state is moderate to rough.
A SMALL CRAFT CAUTION IS IN EFFECT FOR LOCALLY ROUGH SEAS
*A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR COMMUNITIES DOWNSTREAM ALONG THE BELIZE RIVER.
Temperatures in all areas except for the hills today will be 78 degrees Fahrenheit; the hills will reach 68 degrees.
Tonight temperatures will be 68 along the coast, 64 inland and 54 in the hills.
Tides will be low at 11:25 this morning and high at 5:38 this evening.
The Sun rose this morning at 6:12 A.M. and will set at 5:18 P.M. this evening.
The extended outlook for Thursday and Thursday night is for some cloudy spells with isolated showers or light rain affecting mainly offshore and coastal areas of the country.
