By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health and Wellness says that 160 new cases of COVID-19 were identified in Belize today.
The Ministry urged individuals to consider their safety nets and start to look at their household bubble and avoid interactions with others outside of the household, especially as the holiday season is upon us.
“Protect each other with the continued use of face masks, physical distancing, and proper hygiene- cough etiquette and hand washing. Let us join forces in the fight against COVID-19,” the release from the Ministry noted.
So far, Belize has recorded 8,965 cases of the virus – 4219 people have recovered from it, and currently, there are 4,561 active cases.
