Tourism will bounce back, promises GOB

By Aaron Humes: The tourism industry will not be allowed to disintegrate further, the Government promises.

Initiatives in aviation, tourist activity and others are part of its #PlanBelize.

National Health Insurance (NHI) will be rolled out and the Government promises to focus on people, including reducing instances of non-communicable diseases and depoliticizing social programs.

The Police Department will be boosted, but demilitarized, and armed with more tools to fight gangs and crimes, though the Gang Suppression Unit will be eliminated.

Women and children will be empowered, the former to seek equal pay and opportunities.
