By Aaron Humes: Saturday will mark two months since 28 prisoners pulled off a daring escape from the Central Prison at Hattieville.

While the vast majority have been recaptured or in one case killed, three remain on the run: Erwin Lanza, Micheal Faux, and Jaroud Lamb. Lanza was arrested for possession of a three-inch marijuana plant and a firearm. The other two are convicted murderers; Lamb was initially convicted of a 2013 murder carried out during a robbery at Belmopan’s La Choza Bar. Faux was serving a life sentence for the cold-blooded murder of city resident Sidney Bradley who he allegedly shot in his door mouth.

Virgilio Murillo, C.E.O, Kolbe Foundation, says “there are sightings of them every so often and the police as well as the prison is very much relentless in getting them back and we will keep up the vigilance and the motivation to get them back into the prison as soon as possible. It is just a matter of the good citizen calling the authorities and pointing out where they are and we are going to go and grab them. So, we need that good citizen to call the prison and tell the prison where they are. Obviously, they are being maintained either through fear or just somebody wanting to cover them, but we are hoping that sometime soon they will be caught.”

If you have seen them or know of their whereabouts, contact the nearest police station or Crimestoppers.
