United Democratic Party expresses condolences on the passing of David “Dido” Vega

By BBN Staff: Today the United Democratic Party (UDP) expressed its condolences for the passing of David Dido Vega, who died today after losing a battle with COVID-19.

Leader of the Opposition Patrick Faber said that his party was saddened to hear of Vega’s passing and called for prayers for Vega’s loved ones.

“This untimely death reminds us of the indiscriminate nature of this deadly pandemic. Several Belizeans are dying daily from COVID-19,” the UDP said.

The party also called for serious action to be taken to stop the spread of the virus and prevent further deaths.
