Weather remains fair but cool going into weekend

By Aaron Humes: The National Meteorological Service predicts mainly fair weather for today.

Skies will be variably cloudy with periods of light rain mainly over the south this morning; little or no rainfall is expected tonight.

Winds are from the north to northeast at 5 to 15 knots; sea state is choppy.

Temperatures today will reach 80 degrees along the coast, 78 in inland areas and 70 in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 74 degrees along the coast, 64 inland and 62 in the hills.

Tides will be high at 7:32 this morning and 7:06 this evening and low at 12:59 this afternoon. The Sun rose at 6:13 this morning and will set at 5:19 this evening.

Mainly fair conditions continue on Saturday with little or no rainfall expected.
