Blood donation needed for Twin Doctors Kenneth and Kevin Guerra

By BBN Staff: The Benque Viejo Town Council issued a statement today joining with the Guerra Family in requesting a donation of A+ blood type.

The blood is needed for twin Doctors, Kenneth and Kevin Guerra who have tested positive for COVID-19 and are both hospitalized.

The doctors are in need of plasma treatment and as such donors who are A+ or AB(-/+), have tested positive for COVID-19 and have recovered are being sought. The donors blood will be used to transfer antibodies from the recovered COVID-19 donor to the doctors in an attempt to give them a fighting chance to recover from the virus.

Anyone who can assist is asked to visit the nearest blood bank to donate blood for them.
