By BBN Staff: An elderly man is dead after being knocked down on Stann Creek Road last night.
Reports are that Pomona Village resident, Israel Argueta 64, was riding his bicycle headed home when he was hit by a vehicle between miles 9 and 10 sometime after 7:00 p.m.
He sustained head and body injuries and died on the spot.
His body was transported to the Southern Regional Hospital.
Police are investigating.
