Weather: Nice day predicted across much of Belize

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service says generally fair weather conditions prevail across Belize.

It will be sunny today with a few cloudy spells and partly cloudy tonight. A few showers will occur mostly over inland areas this afternoon and then mostly offshore tonight. Elsewhere, showers will be isolated.

Winds will blow from the east at 5 to 15 knots while the sea state will be light chop.

Temperatures along the coast will reach 84 degrees Fahrenheit; 87 in inland areas and 78 in the hills. Tonight, temperatures will hit 77 degrees along the coast; 70 inland, and 64 in the hills.

Tides will be high at 10:18 this morning and 9:22 this evening, and low at 3:13 this afternoon. The sun rose at 6:14 this morning and will set at 5:20 this evening.

The extended forecast calls for continued fair conditions and isolated showers.
