Keith Courtney Jr. is City’s second murder victim last night; father also murdered earlier this year

By Aaron Humes: Twenty-six-year-old Keith Courtney, Jr., follows his father in death after being shot on his own premises Monday night.

Police say the younger Courtney was found dead on the veranda of his house on Ebony Street with several gunshot wounds to his body at ten minutes before nine. He had been on the veranda when two men approached and shot at him.

The elder Courtney was shot dead in March while on a bicycle and entering a “long-barracks” compound.

Police continue their investigations.
