Ministry of Natural Resources advises of new payment policy for land transactions

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Natural Resources, through the Department of Lands and Surveys informed that effective December 4, 2020 as per Statutory Instrument No. 171 of 2020, National Lands (Mode of Payment) Regulations, 2020, that any payment towards the purchase of national land or payment of rent for a lease of national land can only be made to the cashiers at the Ministry of Natural Resources.

The Ministry informed that payments made online or via direct deposit towards the purchase of national land or payment of rent for a lease of national land will not be honored by the Department of Lands and Surveys.

Payments for other services, however, can continue to be made via any of the payment methods available.
