Prime Minister John Briceno commits to donating blood   to the Belize Blood Bank

By BBN Staff: Prime Minister John Briceño who recently recovered from COVID-19 committed to donating blood to the Belize Blood Bank on January 4, 2021.

That date will mark his sixth week of recovery.

The plasma from recovered patients may contain COVID-19 antibodies which have been evaluated as a possible treatment for persons battling the virus.

The commitment was made today during his visit to the Central Medical Lab and Blood Bank.
