Belize Electricity Limited announces planned power outages for Belize City on Sunday

By BBN Staff: Today, Belize Electricity Limited (BEL) announced several power outages for Belize City scheduled for Sunday, December 20.

The first outage, which is to affect a portion of Belize City, is expected to last from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Areas to be affected include: Princess Margaret Drive from University Drive to Meighan Avenue, Gentle Avenue, Lizarraga Avenue, Meighan Avenue, University Drive, Teacher Street, and Moho Caye.

There will also be two 20-minute power outages during the day, the first running from 7:00 a.m. to 7:20 a.m. and the second from 12:40 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Areas to be affected include St. Joseph Street, Captain Eiley Street, Princess Margaret Drive, Coney Drive, Mercy Lane, Moguel Street, Lottie Waight Street, and portion 3rd Street.
