Four injured in shoot-out at Lakeview and Banak Streets

By Aaron Humes: Four men were shot in the course of a violent altercation at the corner of Lakeview and Banak Streets, within what is believed to be gang territory, this morning.

According to police, officers in an unmarked vehicle were in the area and identified themselves as police to the alleged shooters, who were identified as Ainsworth Foreman and Lionel and Shemar Kelly.

The trio responded by turning their fire on the officers who fired back.

All three were shot and injured as well as a fourth man, Nikita Smith of Mayflower Street. Smith and Foreman have been discharged from hospital as police investigation continues.
