Peini’s Treasure Trove Learning Centre helping students to prepare for upcoming major exams

By BBN Staff: While the tourism sector was hit the hardest economically by the COVID-19 pandemic, the education sector was the most disrupted due to the restrictions on human interaction. The Ministry of Education at the time had to find workarounds for in-class learning and many of the processes are still being refined. In light of the difficulties in education this year, Peini’s Treasure Trove Learning Centre & Scholarship Program, a Toledo-based organization geared towards community upliftment through education and economic empowerment is launching a program to assist students to prepare for their upcoming Primary School Examination (PSE) and Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) exams.

The organization is reaching out to those wishing to see the advancement of students in Toledo, to participate in its sale of t-shirts and Christmas packages.

“Starting in January 2021, we will be offering CSEC and PSE preparation sessions to ensure students have the competence to excel in national as well as regional examinations. By purchasing a t-shirt for only $25 or our Christmas Package for $40, you are helping to make those dreams a reality,” the organization said.

Peini’s Treasure Trove Learning Centre is the sister organization to Peini’s Treasure Trove, a grassroots initiative established for the betterment of Toledo residents. Half the profits made from sales at Peinil’s treasure Trove go towards the strengthening of the Learning Centre.
