La Luz del Mundo Church receives tons of relief supplies to assist residents affected by floods in Belize

By BBN Staff: La Luz del Mundo Church has received donations of over 4 tons of relief supplies to assist residents in Belize.

The aid was delivered in-country through the support of the Ministry of Finance and the Government of Belize.

Thousands of Belizeans were affected by the floods brought by Hurricanes Eta and Iota in November.

Members of the church joined in distributing the donations of food and hygienic packages received.

The church is grateful to all generous donors for their assistance to the people and country of Belize.

“ The church expresses its love and gratitude for all the donors who are assisting the residents of Belize,” a statement said.

Pastor Isiah Valdez expressed gratitude to Prime Minister, John Briceno who assisted with the delivery of the items.

“ We also thank NEMO and Minister Orlando Habet, this is a part of the 7 tons that will be donated throughout the country, God bless you all” Valdez said.

Residents who received the much-needed assistance expressed gratitude to God and the church for reaching out and bringing the aid to them.
