Belize Met Service: Cloudy skies with a few showers ahead

The National Meteorological Service of Belize (Belize Met Service) says that a moist northeasterly airflow will bring clouds and a few showers today.

The 24-hour forecast calls for partly cloudy skies becoming cloudy at times during the day and night. A few showers will develop mainly along coastal areas.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 84 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 96 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 75 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 74 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 68 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 63 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing East-Northeast at 05-15 knots, and the sea state will be light chop.

Low tide will occur at 8:57 a.m. and high tide will come in at 3:02 p.m.

The sun will set at 5:23 p.m. and the moon will rise tomorrow at 11:21 a.m.
