Two dead, two injured as vehicle collides with a crane on the Burrel Boom road

By BBN Staff: A man and a minor are dead, while another man and a minor are injured after a pickup truck crashed into a crane last night on the Burrell Boom road.

Daniel Barkman 49, the driver of the pickup was headed towards Hattieville along with Luke Thiessen, 13, Ronald Thiesen, 36, and Nathan Miller, 17 sometime after 8:00 p.m.

Barkman collided with the crane while hitting the deadman curve passing Gentleville.

Barkman along with Luke Theissen, who was in the front passenger seat, died on the spot while Ronald Thiesen and Nathan Miller were rushed to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for emergency medical treatment. They are listed as being in stable condition.
