Man stabbed in Belize City says he knew his attacker

By BBN Staff: A Belize City man was stabbed this evening and told police that he knew his attacker.

Reports are that  Marlon Bell, 45, was on Simon Lamb Street after 5:30 p.m. to conclude a business transaction when he was attacked.

Bell’s attacker tried to stab him in the chest but he guarded himself and took two large stab wounds to the left arm.

Police transported him to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for treatment and is listed as being in stable condition.

Police are seeking the man he identified.
