Woman robbed while unloading groceries

By BBN Staff: A Belize City woman was robbed of her jewelry this week while trying to unload groceries out of her vehicle.

Police say that Aliyah Hislop, 25, was in front of her home on Curl Thompson street after 7:00 p.m. on Monday when two men, one of whom was armed with a gun, approached her.

The men stole her gold necklace valued at $2,000 and a single gold earring valued at $150.

Police are investigating.
