By BBN Staff: Leader of the Opposition Patrick Faber released his official Christmas message this week, calling on Belizeans to keep hopeful and make whatever changes necessary to survive the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Christmas is all about spending time with family, and close friends, and sending greetings to loved ones, but given the current COVID pandemic, this time around we will have to carry on these actions in non-traditional ways while keeping the spirit,” Faber said.

He stressed that life as we all knew it pre-pandemic may never return, which will require that each person to adapt going forward.

He closed his message with a sincere plea for Belizeans to follow the established protocols for the prevention of COVID-19 such as staying home when not conducting essential business, proper hand-washing, mask-wearing, and social distancing when in public spaces.
