Police seize over 300 pounds of marijuana in Corozal

By BBN Staff: The Belize Police department found over 300 pounds of marijuana during an operation in the Corozal District this week.

Reports are that a joint Mobile Interdiction Team consisting of officers from Orange Walk and Corozal, conducted the operation and found 121 parcels of compressed marijuana at various places on a farm in Consejo shores.

The parcels added up to 328 pounds.

Police have since detained the caretaker of the farm.
