By BBN Staff: Today, officers attached to San Ignacio Community policing office joined by senior officers issued food hampers to several residents in San Ignacio, Santa Elena, Bullet Tree, Santa Familia and Georgeville.

Some of the recipients included former police officers, retired officers and officers affected by the flood and the pandemic.

In addition, the officers have identified 2 families, 1 in San Ignacio and 1 in Santa Elena that will be a part of a new program called ‘Adopt a Family’.

The program will see officers assisting these families with basic items on a monthly basis.
