By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service says generally fair weather will prevail during the day, then a strong cold front will cross the country later tonight.
Skies will be mostly sunny today; shower activity will be isolated. Tonight and tomorrow morning skies will be cloudy, along with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms developing and this will be associated with the passage of a cold front.
Winds are from the East-Southeast, 5-15 knots, Sea State is Light Chop. A small craft warning goes into effect tonight for rough seas.
Temperatures: Highs today are 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 90 over inland areas, and 77 in the hills. Tonight, it will be 77 along the coast, 71 inland, and 67 in the hills.
Tides were high at 6:18 this morning and will be again at 6:08 this evening, and low at 12:07 this afternoon. The Sun rose at 6:20 this morning and sets at 5:25 this evening.
The extended outlook for Friday and Friday night is for cool and windy conditions to prevail with periods of light rain occurring mainly offshore.
