Police officer busted with almost 40 lbs of weed on Christmas Eve

By BBN Staff: A Belmopan police officer was busted with almost 40 lbs of weed on Christmas Eve.

Dion Bellini, an officer attached to Belmopan was busted in Orange Walk with 2 suitcases in the back of the vehicle.

Inside, police found 33 parcels of cannabis amounting to 39 lbs.

Bellini has since been charged for possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply.
