Ministry of Health and Wellness confirms another 71 cases of COVID-19

By BBN Staff: There have been 71 newly-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Belize, according to the latest data issued from the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW).

The Ministry’s data shows that the newly-confirmed cases came from a sample batch of 589 tests, conducted between December 25-27.

Of the new cases, 37 were females and 34 were males.

The also Ministry said that there are another 212 suspected causes currently under investigation.

The national total for confirmed cases now stands at 10,561.
