By BBN Staff: Earlier we reported that Rene Moh, an employee of the National Forensic Science Service (NFSS) died last night from COVID-19. Moments ago the Ministry of Home Affairs and New Growth Industries issued a statement expressing its condolences to Moh’s loved ones.

The Ministry and the NFSS noted that Moh served the National Forensic Science Service with distinction as the Exhibit Manager for over 10 years.

“His professionalism was defined by his eye for detail, his integrity and reliability, and his devoted service to his country. Mr. Moh was a champion for evidence security, and his legacy will persist at the National Forensic Science Service long into the future,” the Ministry said.

Moh is survived by his wife and two children.

The Ministry also extended its sympathies to all Belizean families that are mourning the loss of a loved one to COVID-19.
