Man charged for Belize City shooting

By BBN Staff: Police have arrested one man for the shooting of Shemar Kelly, 20, which took place on December 18.

Kelly told police that he was at the corner of Lake View Street and Vernon Street on the aforementioned date when he heard the sound of gunfire and realized that he had been shot.

Today police announced that they have arrested Kenyon Flores, 20, in connection with the incident.

Reports are that Flores was formally arrested on  Saturday, December 26, and charged with ‘Attempted Murder and Use of Deadly Means of Harm’.
