Belize Met Service: Fair weather expected

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize (Belize Met Service) says that weather conditions will be fair across the country today.

The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with some cloudy spells and isolated showers developing.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 79 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 81 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 72 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 64 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 59 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing North-Northeast at 10-20 knots, and the sea state will be moderate-rough.

“A small craft caution is in effect for occasionally rough seas,” the Met Service said.

High tide will come in at 10:14 a.m. and low tide will occur at 3:11 p.m.

The sun will set at 5:28 p.m. and the moon will rise at 5:13 p.m.
