BREAKING: Commissioner of Lands Wilbert Vallejos said to be standing down

By Aaron Humes: Long-time and embattled Commissioner of Lands and Surveys, Wilbert Vallejos, is said to be stepping down from his post as of Wednesday.

We were not able to reach Minister of Natural Resources Cordel Hyde this afternoon to confirm.

 We will continue to follow the story as reforms continue at the notoriously difficult to police ‘Lands Department’, described under the previous administration as a “hotbed of corruption.”
