Government to host first official sitting of the House of Representatives

By BBN Staff: The Government of Belize has announced that January 8, it will host its first official sitting of the House of Representatives at the National Assembly in Belmopan.

The special sitting will commence at 10am.

Prime Minister John Briceno said in his New Year’s address that government will present a supplementary budget. He also assured all Belizeans that government will not seek to introduce any additional revenue measures.
