Over 100 people have recovered from COVID-19, more than 20 still hospitalized

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) is reporting that more than 100 people have managed to recover from COVID-19; however, there are more than 20 still hospitalized.

The Ministry’s last daily update for 2020, says that there have been 106 new recoveries, which has pushed the national total up to 9,795 and the national recovery rate up to 90.9 percent.

Meanwhile, 23 people remain hospitalized due to COVID-19, and six are in intensive care units due to increasing complications.

The Ministry of Health and Wellness reminds the general public to follow the Public Health advice and adhere to the Isolation/Quarantine guidelines if you test positive,” MOHW said. “If you have difficulty breathing, chest pain, diarrhea, or vomiting, please seek medical attention immediately.”
