One new COVID-19 death, national deaths at 250

By BBN Staff: The latest data published by the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) says that another Belizean has died from COVID-19.

The new death takes the national total up to 250 and the fatality rate to 2.29.

The latest death also represents the second COVID-19 death in Belize for 2021.

“The Ministry of Health and Wellness reminds the general public to follow the Public Health advice and adhere to the Isolation/Quarantine guidelines if you test positive for Covid-19. If you have difficulty breathing, shortness of breath, or chest pain, seek medical attention immediately,” the MOHW said.
