Bermuda’s Health Minister says ‘reckless behavior’ is cause of rise in COVID-19 cases

By BBN Staff: Bermuda’s Health Minister, Kim Wilson has reportedly said that reckless behavior has led to 18 new cases of COVID-19 cases.

Those new cases bring the nation’s total cases to 622.

Ten people have lost their lives to COVID-19 in Bermuda.

Wilson said that over the holidays, people were attending social activities and not engaging in safe practices.

“I cannot emphasize enough the importance of making sensible and responsible decisions,” she said.

The island currently has 134 active cases and 131 patients being monitored.
