Seven new-COVID-19 deaths reported, not all occurred in 2021

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health and Wellness reported today that there have been seven more deaths related to COVID-19, however, the Ministry noted that not all of the deaths occurred since the beginning of 2021.

The Ministry clarified that, of the 7 reported deaths, two happened today and another happened yesterday.

The remaining four occurred in December 2020 and were confirmed after the fact.

The latest deaths take the national total up to 257 and the fatality rate up to 2.35.
