Posted: Tuesday, January 5, 2021. 8:21 am CST.

The National Meteorological Service of Belize (Belize Met Service) says that shower activity will decrease as the current moist airflow is replaced by a dryer air mass.

The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies today with some cloudy intervals. Tonight skies will be partly cloudy. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will develop mainly over northern districts and inland areas during the daytime, thereafter shower activity will be isolated.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 84 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 86 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 75 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 78 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 74 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 66 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing East-Northeast between 05-10 knots, and the sea state will be slight.

Low tide began at 8:53 a.m. and high tide will come in at 3:03 p.m.

The sun will set at 5:32 p.m. and the moon will rise at 11:49 p.m.
