Over 5,000 Caribbean nationals deported from the US in 2020

By BBN Staff: A total of 5,214 Caribbean nationals were deported from the United States of America in 2020, News Americas now reports.

The latest U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) data suggested that 1,835 were from the Dominican Republic.

The second highest amount was sent to Cuba, 1583.

In 2020, Haiti received 895 deportees and Jamaica 523 deportees.

The Bahamas-76

Trinidad and Tobago- 73

St. Lucia – 10

St. Vincent and the Grenadines – 8

Antigua & Barbuda – 6

Grenada – 6

British Virgin Islands – 5

Netherland Antilles – 4

St. Kitts & Nevis – 3

Turks & Caicos – 3

Suriname – 1

Bermuda – 1
