Belize Met Service: Cloudy spells and showers expected today

The National Meteorological Service of Belize (Belize Met Service) says that weather conditions will be relatively moist today, bringing cloudy spells and showers.

The 24-hour forecast calls for some cloudy spells with showers being isolated and slightly more occurring over the north today. Then mainly fair conditions with only isolated showers tonight.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 84 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 86 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 75 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 76 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 72 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be light and variable and the sea state will be slight.

Low tide began at 9:41 a.m. and high tide will come in at 3:41 p.m.

The sun will set at 5:32 p.m. and the moon will rise tomorrow at 12:47 a.m.
