Belize Water Services gets new Board of Directors

By BBN Staff: As a part of Prime Minister John Briceno’s continued configuration of his new administration, he has approved a new Board of Directors (BOD) for Belize Water Services Limited (BWSL).

The new BOD will be chaired by Cornelio Acosta and its members will consist of Ashton Longsworth, Cresencio Sosa, Elijio Briceno, Jose “Pepe” Garcia, Keith Mira, Ivar Medina, Carmelita Blanco, and Dr. Victor Rosado.

BWSL’s new BOD will serve for a term of three years, with effect as of January 4, 2021.

The appointment of BWSL’s new Board follows the selection of a new BOD for Belize Telemedia Limited (BTL), back in December 2020.
