Former Chief Executive Officer in Ministry of Works in hot seat!

By BBN Staff: A leaked letter addressed to the chairman of the Integrity Commission makes a formal request for an investigation into the actions of Former Minister of Works, Rene Montero and his CEO, Errol Gentle.

The investigation is being officially requested by the CEO in the Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing.

“We write to formally report the breach of sections 15 and 18 of the code of conduct for members of the National Assembly and public officers enacted under Part IV of the prevention of corruption in public life act by Former Minister Rene Montero and his Chief Executive Officer, Errol Gentle occasioned by the wanton and prolonged abuse and misuse of the resources of the Ministry of Works for the private gain of Minister Montero,” the letter stated.

The letter further requests that Montero and Gentle be held fully responsible for any alleged wrong-doing.
