By BBN Staff: During Friday’s sitting of the House of Representatives, Area Representative for Mesopotamia, Shyne Barrow in his presentation called on the new Minister of Infrastructure, Julius Espat, to scrap an investigation against the former Minister for alleged corruption in favor of an investigation into the police for the murder of Fareed Ahmad.

Shyne told the government that instead of investigating the former Minister of Works, they should investigate police for murder.

“Instead of investigating, instead of the minister of Infrastructure instructing the Minister of home affairs to investigate the former Minister of Infrastructure, to stop crime, you have to lead by example….. there is a fellow in my constituency whose name is Fareed Ahmad….. and it is alleged that he was murdered by a police officer..,” Barrow said.

He then went on to call on the Minister of Home Affairs to investigate the police officer who was reportedly named by another police officer for the murder of Ahmad.
